Summer Solstice Burning Man Ceremony and Celebration

Creating a Burning Man is a summer solstice tradition that symbolizes the Sun God sacrificing himself to go into the nourishment we recieve from the sun through our crops -- the sun dies at its zenith of the year and begins to wane, as the crops are settling in to transform light into energy for our harvest later in the summer and fall. At this summer solstice event we will reclaim this ritual and cocreate an epic offering of liberation and renewal. Our light and energy is at its highest at the summer solstice, and we can let go as offerings all we wish to clear in the solstice fire. As we make space and thank the sun for all its beauty and might, it is cause for celebration!! The music will be sacred and grooving to guide our dance around the solstice fire into the night. This is a conscious event - no alcohol or drugs or plant medicines invited for this gathering. We will find higher levels of awareness through breath and movement and intention. 

If you would like, bring offerings of what you would like to release in your life. In the past, I have seen people offer old journals, writings, dreadlocks, artwork, and other symbols with meaning. Don't worry, though, you will be preparing your personal offering that day with the group. 

Bring your own and refillable water bottles. Bring your own yoga mat or blanket. Bring your own lawn chair also if you prefer to sit on a chair instead of the ground. 

 A light dinner and snacks will be provided. Please bring refillable water bottle or a cup. 

Bring a bathing suit (optional) for cold plunging, and wear whatever makes you feel the most glorious and sexy and wonderful for an evening of dancing barefoot on the grass around a fire under the stars in sacred sisterhood.
